I offer pet sitting from Richmond, VA to Surry, VA & am willing to travel further. I offer a variety of services from simply feeding once to twice daily, walks, mid day checkups, in house pet sitting (staying the entire time at your house that you're gone), administering medications, exercising horses, cleaning house during stay & bathing dogs. Due to drastic differences in animals & their needs...there is s tremendous difference in pricing. To generate my pricing, I contacted 10 local boarding facilities & got the average pricing they all had & took a chunk off of the total! I feel when animals are to be left behind while their family is on vacation, they should be left in the comfort of their own home, with their own familiar scents, with regular exercise & normal routine. I'm experienced in the veterinary field as a bonue & can tell you first hand I've seen plenty of cases where pets are kept at SOME kennels & they completely stress out resulting in losing hair & refusing to eat. Kennels at clinics are unable to spend as much quality time with your pet as you would hope & I truly feel in house pet sitting is completely beneficial to the pet & owner.
