I am writing to express my interest for the position which you are offering as a dog walker. I had recently been a teacher’s assistant in a non-profit organization called Hour Children. Hour Children’s mission is to reunite formerly incarcerated women with their children and families. This experience has prepared me to work well under pressure in an environment that would utilize my communication and organizational skills with a higher level of responsibility. I had been a camp counselor for two years in the Fresh Air Fund, specifically Camp ABC, an all girls camp; where we encouraged individualism, teamwork and building friendships. Over the course of my two years working here, I have learned teamwork as well, taking leadership when needed to, and watching over 12 kids has helped me improved in being attentive to details. My Availability is on Mondays and Wednesdays after 4pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays after 2pm, and all day on Fridays. When selected, I plan on building a bond with your pet and look forward into becoming a part of his/her life.
