Pets are family, and I know from experience that you want someone you can trust not only around your home, but around your animals. I want to work with you to make sure that your pet or pets feel comfortable and relaxed, and you can be confident that I will take the extra minute for ear scratches, tummy rubs or cuddles so that they feel loved and happy! I am a 25 year old adventure activity instructor with a love for music, the outdoors and of course, animals! I have the most experience with cats and dogs, having been a cat mum for many years, and consistently interacting with multiple diverse breeds of dogs over the past four years. I have regularly walked a very energetic australian shepherd/border collie mix, as well as a mastiff lab mix and several medium-large dogs, can handle power breeds very well, and have had the opportunity to walk and get to know a lot of dogs from medium to large-sized breeds fairly well. With any animal, it will help us both for me to have a good understanding of your training style so that I can keep any discipline, treats or routine consistent while you're away or at work! I am a big sucker for cute puppy dog eyes; but I can and will be firm when necessary depending on your preference to make sure your pet (as well as the pets of others) are safe on or off leash! For stronger or more energetic dogs, I would prefer a chance to review any walking/leash manners with you as well as any sort or muzzle or training collars to make sure that I am ALWAYS giving your dog a safe and fun walk that is consistent with the way you are with them. All of this info helps me to meet your dogs' needs! As I mentioned, I am most experienced with cats and medium-large breed dogs, but am always willing and eager to rise to the occasion if you have an animal or breed that requires a more intense healthcare regimen, or if you have other in-house animals that need some love and attention! As long as our communication is clear and detailed, I am more than excited to learn how best to look after any of your fur-family! (er..scales? Feathers?) I am currently available, timeline depending, for dog walking, for house visits to feed, let out or simply spend some quality time with your pets, and I am also available for overnight sitting for trips or vacations, and would love to have a conversation with you to dicuss your pet and their needs as well as your expectations!
