As the sun rises on our front yard neighborhood dogs gather. Our dogs, Copper and Honey, run barking to the gate to greet their friends. Max walks every day summer and winter and is happy to take whoever shows up. Off they go. Large, small, old and young dogs... all happy to see each other. They each return to their homes as they pass. Shhhh … Don't tell anyone but I always know when their "mom or dad" leave for an over-nighter because their dog returns, sometimes in a snowstorm and sometimes when the lightening scares them... they know where to go for a dry towel, a warm rug and some company. They come to my back door. It's one of the delights of living in the country. In summer we have a huge grassy front yard and lots of space to run and play. We have a large tiled area where visiting dogs can wait for someone returning from an outing. It's not just dogs.. oh no. We have a barn with rabbits, chickens, cats and a goat. We left one rabbit go free 3 years ago and now it lives wild in our barn... nibbling on the stacks of hay, drinking with the chickens and waiting for summer vegies from the garden. The barn is cozy, even in the winter. All the animals are friends including Honey and Copper. There are horse stalls (and no horses right now) Hint! Hint! We have 10 acres for wandering, cross fencing for large animals, a corral for training, cages for critters and it's only1000 feet to BLM land with miles of trails. If you have to be out of town or have an emergency, call us. If your animal needs special care or care at your place then ask for ANNA… she is homeschooled, has her own car and LOVES animals. She is a responsible, good with animals, has lots of references and First-Aid training. Between us we'll follow your instructions for a sick or injured pet and love 'em while you're away.
