Hi. My name is Matthew Calkins. I'm 28 years old and I have had a passion and a love for animals ever since I was a toddler. In fact, my dream job is to become a veterinarian or a veternarians technician. I even got to job shadow my family vet. I got to see the day to day operations of what it's like first hand to be a veterinarian. I have been in customer service pretty much my whole entire adult life. Specially, management in Restaurants. And in that field, you really learn how to be patient with people ( or animals ) and not getting short with them when things don't go the way they were supposed to. It's important that you dont ever over react and hit your animal. My girlfriend is 6 months pregnant. That being said, I quit my management job so I could move to be with my girlfriend and be a parent to my child. We have a 8 month old kitten and 2 dogs. I have been getting a lot of temporary jobs since I moved to this side of town. So I'm available quite often.
