I have always had dogs and cats from early childhood. We had a Boxer when I was about 5 years old and she lived only 5 years as she contracted cancer...this was devastating to me. Then we got a Wire-haired Fox Terrier puppy and she stayed with us till she died about 10 years later. I was gone to college when she passed...I loved her too, and was hocked to hear that she was gone from us. We had horses in a pasture behind our house, and I was a horse fanatic! I dreamed, breathed and read all that I could about them. I could get on them and ride bareback, because of our spiritual connection...that was a happy time. After I left home I always had a dog or two...I married and went to the shelter for my 1st dog for us as a couple, then another later on. Later when I had my kids, we always had a dog...many of them, they all hold a special place in my heart! Also, during all of that time from early childhood, we had cats too. One cat at a time though! Right now I have 2 dogs and 1 cat...a boy Australian Shepherd age 7 months and a 4 year old Border Collie girl. They are my family. So, I have trained and taken care of many animals. My daughter works at the ASPCA in Spicewood, and she has trained and raised Border Collies. I have no fear of dogs, and they love me as I do them! My schedule is open now, as I am retired, so I am available. I will take care of your dog or house like it was mine own. I will feed, walk, bring in the paper, turn on the lights and collect your mail. Leave the place clean. I can provide references. I live in Southwest Austin.
