I have a wide range of experience with a variety of different types of animals. I am extremely comfortable with all animals and at this point, a job working with animals could be extremely beneficial for my future career path. I am currently pursuing a Psychology-Biology double major with hopes of potentially entering the animal-assisted therapy field. I have a wide range of experience working with various types of animals. Growing up, my family has never been without at least one dog. Over the years we have housed a number of pets at different times including a rabbit, many fish and even a ball python. During my six-month trip with Canada World Youth, I spent time volunteering at the Yukon Wildlife Reserve. My work at this rehabilitation centre exposed me to many kinds of animals, including arctic foxes, bison, and moose. In this position I had a number of different responsibilities, most importantly ensuring that the animals had clean, fresh water. It is safe to say that I love and feel safe and comfortable with all different types of animals.
