I enjoy working with animals of all types. I am a personable individual that ensures that the animals that I work with are comfortable around me. It is important to build a rapport with the animals that I care for in order for them to feel comfortable while they are under my care. I utilize the principles of Applied Behavioural Analysis and use positive reinforcement while working with animals. I have owned a variety of pets throughout the years. I have experience caring for cats, dogs, reptiles, as well as aquatic species. My schooling allowed me to use the basic principles of Applied Behavioural Analysis to teach animals basic skills and tricks by using shaping and positive reinforcement of desirable behaviours/skills.
