I have been an animal enthusiast all of my life. I currently have one cat, a small flock of chickens, and four goats. In the past, I raised corn snakes and took care of our dogs, rabbits, the family bearded dragon and the wild toads, lizards, geckoes, and snakes my brothers and I had found. I love that dogs are always so loyal; all they want is to just spend time with you. I trained my family's first dog (an Australian Shepherd) when he was just a puppy thus enabling my parents to let us keep him. When I got my first dog(also an Aussie), she was super shy. With special training classes and lots of love, she grew so much and she would even come up to strangers. I also taught her quite a few tricks including speak, roll-over, and sit pretty. I have also taken care of my friend's dogs too: a sweet, older Golden Retriver; a German Shepherd and his boxer buddies; and a young, bouncy Dachschund puppy. Whether it's taking your dog for a walk, feeding, brushing, petting or teaching him a new trick, I enjoy it all. I love cats too! Whether it's admiring them from a distance or cuddling them on my lap, I think they're just the best stress relievers! I've had cats my entire life and would be delighted to take care of yours! One of my favorite animals is snakes. I think they are fascinating creatures and I enjoy teaching my friends, neighbors, and even the occasional person I just met that they are gentle and fun to have!
