Pet Sitter in Toronto, Ontario

I became interested in animal care when, three years ago, I had to take in a Staffordshire terrier puppy who grew up to be severely allergic. She remained sweet-natured and affectionate despite the trials of her illnesses. Now that I have relocated to Toronto, I would like find a way to spend time with animals again. I am currently working part time at a pet boutique where I get to interact with the dogs who come into the store all day long. My availability is dependent on the distance from my work/home and nature of the work required (e.g. walking, check in, extended stay). As an adult I lived with and helped with the care of two dogs and several cats for three years. The dogs were a Staffordshire terrier, whom I cared for and helped train from the time she was a puppy and saw through many allergies, and a Bichon/Shih Tzu. More recently I have acquired paid sitting experience looking after two cats. I house sat and cared for the cats for a month.
