I am very passionate about animals, and love meeting our interesting family members. I believe that the service I provide can help alleviate any stress you or your pet(s) may have while you are away. I know it's not easy being away from our little buddies! And it certainly is tough on them. I like to mimic your daily routines with your pet, and meet them beforehand. I find it makes them a little more comfortable, and eases them into our time together. If you're in need of some help, I hope I can provide! I had worked in a Pet Store for 3 years - I learned how to follow directions, and basic/advanced care for several types of pets. I have had pet-sitting jobs in the past as well. I have mostly worked with cats; this included time frames from one month, a week, to a couple days. I can do drop-ins or stay for a specific amount of time (ie: a gentlemen had me visit his cat once a day for an hour for a month). I have also worked with dogs before, and stayed overnight with them for a week. I have also done drop-ins for dogs as well (stop by during lunch hours, for example, so they can get outside for a bit and play). I myself have had/have a varying amount of animals: 3 dogs, 2 birds, reptiles, a pond of fish (had them since they were babies!), a rabbit, and a tarantula. I'm used to feeding on a set schedule/specific times. I'm used to feeding live insects - but I have not fed live mice, only frozen (with any pet, I'd like to know when/how you typically feed them anyway). I do like to have a list of what you and your pet do/need during the time, just so we don't forget anything! (I've made feedings schedules for myself; some animals required a formula certain days).
