I am female, 38 years old, CPR and First Aid certified with a criminal background check. I love children, animals and the elderly and would love the opportunity to be able to work with them part-time. I am currently self-employed as a Licenced Holistic Health Practitioner (by the City of Toronto). I have been working professionally in the holistic health care health field for 13 years, doing massage at high end resorts around the world. Originally from the U.S., I have been firmly rooted in Toronto with permanent resident status for over 3 years. Currently I maintain a massage practice for women in my home in North York and offer mobile visits as well. I have a B.A. in Advertising/Public Relations and have completed various trainings including a certificate from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City and Hospice Training in Tofino, British Columbia. My Childcare Background: I had a large hand at raising my sister who is 10 years younger than me while my parents worked. To this day, she says I was a "good Mom" and "lucky to have me". In 1998-200... I worked as a nanny for two families in New York City. One was full-time, the other part time. I was very fortunate to with with such amazing families. In 2000-200... I worked for a Nanny Sitting service in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware that brought me many jobs to various homes. During this time, I also provided day care and after school childcare at the YMCA. One summer, I volunteered with special needs children in a learn to swim program. I also provided personal care support to an elderly woman, coming over in the morning and evening as necessary to help her with her daily routine. I've worked in several animal hospitals, so you name it, I've probably done it. I grew up with cats, and have housesitted at a home with birds and and a dog.
