About Me: Hello! My name is Kristen Durkee! I live in the Lafayette area, and I am looking for work as a petsitter/dog walker/animal caregiver! I've been told I have an amazing gift/special touch/strong bond with all animals I come in contact with! I do not currently have any official i certifications or work place experience with animals, but I do have ALOT of personal experience. I have had four different, special needs foster kittens, three of which I ended up adopting and 2 foster puppies. I also dog and cat sit quite often for all my friends and family. My family and friends also have me take care of their pets who have had medical treatment, including after care for surgeries and administering their medicine. (including monthly flea meds) I also offer all of them basic grooming for all of their inside and outside pets. So in short, I am VERY familiar with cats and dogs of all ages, wide ranges of personality types, pets with little to no training, pets with strict routines, bottle feeding, making them potty if they are too young to go themselves, bathing, grooming (brushing, nail clipping, shaving, cutting, styling), daily nutrition, exercise, applying flea meds and various other medications including injections, medical after care, and so much more!
