I am an animal lover and proud "parent" of a Huskie/Shepard mix named Cedar and a retired rat named Zakat. I have advocated for animal rights and I have volunteered to an animal shelter. I have also taught a vegan cooking class for dogs!
I have volunteered at the SPCA animal shelter for a year while living and working in Ontario. I absolutely loved my time there, and even ended up adopting my beloved dog-friend, Cedar. I have also provided volunteer care for pets of people who were traveling and couldn't afford daycare in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
