Pet Sitter in Kenova, West Virginia

I'm an
Agency / Company
Application: Hi there my name is Amy . I'm searching for a pet care jobs in the Huntington Tri-State area (preferrably West Huntington, Rt. 75, Spring Valley, C-K, Ashland, South Point near Wal-Mart, Lavalette, Rt.52, Wayne , and other similar areas but I will be happy to consider any positions in any area). I'd like to mention up front my pay rate is negotiotiable depending on the job and location so please don't let my listed rate stop you from contacting me. I'm aiming to apply my skill as an animal (all kinds) sitter, groomer (minor grooming; bathing, drying, brushing, cutting out knots, applying flea baths, etc. but not expert grooming for show dogs for instance or even full cuts and ONLY with animals that handle grooming well or can be muzzled with owners permission if they bite during even minor grooming needs or unless it is at a grooming company looking for a new hire then I have the basics and am ready to learn! :) ) trainer, walker, medical help, boarding (I am fine keeping pets that are used to being indoors as long as they are mostly potty trained, either by being taken out on a schedule, letting you know they need to go outside or use potty pads. I will consider keeping outside pets but our yard is not fenced and I don't particularly like tying animals up and while we have a very large yard it is still close to a main road and the safety of the animals I watch is my #1 comcern but if ypu would lile to discuss possible solutions I am ALWAYS willing to try to do everything I can to do a job and do it to the owners satisfaction!), looking in on your pet family while your away or just a companion while you are unable to give your pet the attention you want them to have, I am also VERY FAMILIAR with administering medications and caring for very ill animals so don't let you're pet's medical needs make you put them in boarding or stop you from contacting me. My availability is very flexible and I will go out of my way to meet your schedule! I hope to hear from you soon! :) Services And Training: I have experience with maintaining pet health, administering medication, boarding, volunteering and working at veterinary clinics and hospitals and wild animal rescue and rehabilitation centers, a lifetime of being on farms and above all raising, adopting and rescuing and fostering the number of animals I've worked with over the years, when combined, would easily equal a small zoo. I've raised everything from your typical domesticated animals such as cats and dogs, snakes, frogs & turtles, parrots, all forms of pet store rodents, to miniture potbelly pigs, a chicken (Not that she knew that...I truly believe she believed she was a dog because since the second she came still wet from her shell that's what she was raised around. She even tried to play fetch with our terrier. Of course she couldn't pick up a tennis ball so she'd try to push it back with her beak while also trying to keep our dog from stealing it back. LoL :) ) And even a red squirrel named Peanuts that was unable to be rehabilitated and released so was kept as a pet for the duration of her life from bottle to old age. As well as a passel of joeys I rescued from a jill oppossum recently hit by a car. (I DO NOT RECOMMEND ATTEMPTING TO APPROACH ANY OPPOSSUM, EVEN IF YOU BELIEVE IT'S DEAD- THE SAYING "PLAYING OPPOSSUM" CAME ABOUT FOR A REASON!- AND THESE ANIMALS CAN CARRY MANY DISEASES, PARASITES AND RABIES! ONLY THOSE EXPERIENCED HANDLING WILD ANIMALS SHOULD EVER TRY AND APPROACH ANY WILD ANIMAL OR EVEN UNKNOWN DOMESTICATED ANIMALS!) They were a pleasure to raise and rehabilitate but the best part was releasing them back into the wild. While I am happiest taking jobs near my home I am very willing to negotiate travel. As you can see I have years of experience and am willing to do both PRIVATE AND TEMPORARY OR DISCUSS PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME WORK WITH GROOMERS, VETERINARY CLINICS AND HOSPITALS, RESCUE (BOTH DOMESTICATED AND WILD) ANIMAL SHELTERS/CENTERS, PET STORES AND ANY OTHER ANIMAL RELATED JOBS. I am a HUGE animal lover and guarantee your pet(s) will be well taken care of and you will be more than satisfied with the job I do. My motto is, "I'd rather do too much than not enough." I am fairly new to petsitter.com but I can provide letters of recommendation upon request. Contacting Me: Please call 304-730-... (M) or 304-300-... (H). I look forward to speaking with you and making your pet(s)/animal(s) day a delight.

Amy seems to love animals and was able to bond with my pets. She was willing to please and conscientious about her work. She was more apt to give more work than needed than not enough. My pets were well fed and cared for. Amy is an honest young woman who you wouldn’t have to be concerned about being alone with your pets.

Amy goes above and beyond. She meticulously completes tasks. She watched our cats for ten days while we were out of the country. She cared for them as we would. She is very eager and enthusiastic to do the best job she can do.
