I'm a young, experienced animal caregiver. I grew up with a family that was always rescuing animals and have been around them for most, if not my whole, life. I, myself, had a Jack Russell Beagle mix for ten years and currently have a six-year-old incredibly spoiled Siamese mix cat. I've wanted to work with animals for as long as I can remember and have done volunteer work with several animal shelters and adoption centers where my responsibilities included walking the dogs we had on-site, transporting animals to and from the facility and their foster homes, keeping up with the clean up of the cats and dogs, feeding, and general managing of the building. Additionally, I lived in Montana for a few years where I cared for a wide range of animals including horses and llama. I ran my own business as a dog walker/pet sitter and have been (professionally) caring for animals since December of 2017. I work mostly with cats and dogs - since that's generally what most people have - but also have experience with birds, rodents and reptiles (oh my!). I'm comfortable working with animals in all areas of life as I have experience with those under a year old who might be more energetic and require a lot more attention and playtime but also older pets who might be a little slower and mostly need patients and soft head pats.
