Faithful Friends Pet Care, LLC is looking to hire experienced pet care providers to fill our dog walker/pet sitter position. This position is unique and fun and can offer the right person a very fulfilling career. This job requires: • A Passion for Animals – Love for all types of domestic pets and a comfort in caring for them. We care for all types of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, etc. • Flexible hours – We offer visits to our clients in their homes from 7am – 10pm every day of the week, including weekends/holidays. These visits can be anywhere from 15 minutes up to an hour in length. You MUST be willing and able to work at any time during this time frame on any given day. **Additional opportunity for income if willing to provide overnight care in our client’s homes** • Reliability – We are caring for living creatures so it is of the utmost importance that each visit is completed when it is scheduled. Missing visits can cause animals to miss meals, go without water, soil themselves, and even possibly cause sickness or injuries to go unnoticed and untreated. Working in this industry does now allow for calling out and missing shifts. We need someone who will be dedicated to this position and will commit to making every effort possible to follow the schedule they are given. • A Willingness to Drive – Depending on the number of visits each day and the distance between those visits, mileage may exceed 100 miles/day. You must own a reliable vehicle that can handle this type of use. • Being Detail Oriented – Each pet has specific needs and instructions for their care that needs to be followed exactly. Attention to detail is vital in this position. • Honesty – Sometimes things don’t go quite as we would like while caring for pets – a dog gets off it’s leash or eats something that it isn’t supposed to – the right caregiver will understand the importance of being honest when these things happen and report them to management so they can relay the information to the client. The pet’s safety is our number one concern and the client needs to be made aware of any unusual circumstances that occur while in our care. • Living Within Our Service Area – Please refer to our website – www.....biz – and make sure you live within the area we serve. • Owning a Smartphone – We utilize the internet and email to communicate specifics pertaining to schedules, visits, etc. so an internet enabled smartphone is essential to success in this position. • A Love for the Outdoors – We conduct our visits during all weather conditions – rain, snow, sleet, sunshine. Please be willing to work in all of these conditions. • Ability to Adapt – Clients cancel, add, and change the times/days of their visits with very short notice.
