Hello! I hope that you will consider me for your house sitting and pet sitting needs. I'm only looking for overnight pet sitting positions while clients are traveling. I am an elementary teacher by training and profession, but not currently teaching. I substitute teach and have a part time day job.. I'm a highly responsible individual with excellent references. I'm loyal, trustworthy and hard working. My high school youth pastor taught me to always leave a place better than when I found it. It was the rule when we went on trips or weekend retreats. I still follow that to this day. Pets who are finicky around strangers, often have the same comfort level with me that they have with their owners. I have done pet sitting and House Sitting for additional income off and on for 20 years. After living overseas and other adventures, I have recently started house/pet sitting again and am rebuilding my client list. I have worked for 3 families in the past 4 months and all are willing to provide references for me. I offer House Sitting including mail / newspaper retrieval, watering plants, taking out trash / recycling, adding water to the pool, etc. I also offer pet sitting for dogs, cats, fish, birds, rabbits and hamsters (no reptiles!). Services include feeding, watering, exercising, playing and cleaning up litter boxes and yards, as well as snuggling and helping them cope with the fact that their primary caretaker is gone!
