Hello, My name is Ashley Rutherford and I am a Biology Major at Ryerson University. Aside from kids, animals are my favorite thing to care for. I am going to school to become a veterinarian, so I have lots of experience under my belt. I have worked at shelters, hospitals and kennels and right now I volunteer at a equine hospital so I have experience with a range of animals and critters. Paid animal care allows me to further my studies at University, while doing what i love to do, spend my time with animals. I have previously worked at a animal hospital and kennel for dogs, cats and birds, as well I volunteer at a Equine hospital at the moment. I have lots of experience handling most pets, and am aware of how to care for them as well. I am also studying to go to vet school so animal care is right up my alley.
