Pet Sitter in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan

Hi, my name is Nancy. I have been working with pups for over 10yrs. By "working with" I trained hard to adopt shelter dogs the basic commands in hopes of making them more appealing to possible adopters. I stopped that about 5yrs ago but am still affiliated with the non profit that provides that service and many, many more! I have been providing pet care for over 15yrs. It is so much more to me than pet care. I give the family piece of mind when they need to travel w/out their furry friend. I give the sad, anxious, confused pup comfort, reassurance, kisses, hugs, lots of scratches, and belly rubs. My goal is to help the dog not forget the parents are gone but that it's ok that they are. Same with the family. My hope is to give them comfort in knowing their pup is in the company of a person who isn't just a "care giver", "dog sitter" etc, to me, it is SO much more! I absolutely adore dogs. I fall in love with every single one, and give each one the love, and compassion, attention, and fun they can handle! Dogs personalities are all different, I feel I tune in fairly quickly so we become fast friends. My husband and I have 5 dogs. Yes, they are trying at times, and they all have different needs, and different ways of letting us know what they want. Animals are amazing! I "meet" my new friends by word of mouth. I've realized over the years that most "dog people" will only go by word of mouth when looking for a sitter. Care taker, sitter... those words have no feeling or warmth to them. I provide the pup(s) comfort, I give myself to them.
