When I was younger, I use to help my dad care for his dogs that we owned. It was a great experience because it showed me how to really take care of dogs. As I gotten older, I started helping take care of pets that my dad's friend would bring by to our home.(My dad's friend has a kennel full of dogs). Then as I grew up and went to HS, I signed up for the Zoo Academy at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens. With that experience, I was able to take care of the animals there. Which included preparing meals, cleaning and sanitizing their areas, and even doing enrichment for them. I worked with so many animals such as the Hornbills, Zebras, Warthogs, Rhinos, Gorillas, etc. With the zoo experience, I learned even more on caring for animals, and I have a lot of care for animals in general. So with my experience I feel like I would make a great animal sitter and your pets will be in great hands.
