I have always had a profound affinity and attachment to all animals. I work with people who have disabilities and who have service animals and I see the profound impact animals have on our lives. They are intelligent, sensitive creatures who have their individual personalities, just like people. I really enjoy developing a relationship with the animals in my life, whether my own or those I come into regular contact with. I see them as eternal children who require similar things, such as attention, a sense of security, structure to their day and time for play.
