Hi there my name is Christina. I live in Tacoma, WA. I have reliable transportation. I have Bi-Polar disorder which causes me not to be able to have a traditional full time job. I graduated from PIMA Medical Institute in Seattle, WA In 2004 with a Degree in Veterinary Assisting. I graduated at the top of my class with Honors. I absolutely love animals. All animals except for spiders. I am not a spider fan at all. Though if someone really had a pet spider that needed to be fed, I would do as asked and feed it, but I would draw the line at feeding it. I would not hold it or pet it. Sorry!! I love the outdoors and walking so I thought it would be the best of all worlds if I could walk and play with dogs all day, and somehow be able to pay my bills at the same time. I worked for WAG! for a little while but didn't like the fact that their customer service and help line is not the greatest. And their policies need to be different. They take 40from every walk to use their app to get clients, but the clients are WAG!s clients not your own clients and I wasn't allowed to contact the client unless it was through them. So I no longer use WAG!, Because I think I as an independent contractor should be able to set different rates for different clients. It shouldn't be the same for everyone because not all the dogs are the same. Some people have little dogs, that don't pull and don't need that long of a walk so they should be less,. then a st. bernard that needs a 60 minute walk or run. Plus some clients might need some extra things done for them and this way i am able to assist any way that i can. So anyways: Oh I also have a recent Background Check I can provide to make you feel at ease. There is nothing on my background check. I am a very honest dependable person. I treat all the dogs like they were my own. I go above and beyond to make you and your pal feel happy and care free.. I also send little video clips while your furry pal and i are out on our walks, and give text updates. If I am watching your pet at your house or if your dog is boarding at mine I walk them 3-4 times a day. Let them out to go potty at least once every hour. Follow your feeding schedule and only provide the treats you allow. I provide free bathing and grooming services as a courtesy and will provide a toe nail trim if you would like. I try to go above and beyond and treat you the way i would like to be treated. Service Abilities: I can take care of pet feeding, facilitating exercise, and training. Further, I am willing to travel. I have years upon years of dog experience with my own personal dogs, as well as 14 years of experience as a Certified Veterinary Assistant. I am trained in dog CPR and dog first aid. I also have experience with special needs dogs, as well as deaf and blind dogs. I am experienced in administering medications and injections for dogs and cats. I don't get grossed out by anything that dogs happen to do, and I have no problem changing litter boxes, and I always clean up after the dogs right after they are done. I also provide boarding, pet sitting, dog walks, drop in visits, house sitting, house cleaning, and yard work services, rates vary.
