Animals have a special place in my heart. As a child I grew up with dogs and cats and they each played an important role in my growth. My family (in Utah) currently has a dachshund (diabetic) and chihuahua (diva). Recently I moved to Florida and the chihuahua "Lulu" (who is my dog) is living in Utah for a few months, then will be joining me soon. My dachshund is 13 years old and still going strong. He is diabetic and for many years, my family and I have given him insulin injections every morning and night.
