Pet Sitter in Escondido, California

Hello! My name is Jennifer, and I'd love to be considered to watch over your pet! My whole life I've had my own pets, so I know just how important it is for them to be taken care of by someone who will give them the best care, attention, and affection that they could possibly have. For pet owners, they're not just a cute critter that takes up the extra space in a house, they're part of the family that makes that space a home. First, I'd like you to get to know me a little better. Aside from taking care of animals, I also work as a program aide for my school district's before/after school program with middle school students. For them I plan activities and participate with them in those activities, providing childcare on campus for students with no where else to go while their parents are still at work. At my job, the thing I enjoy most is interacting with my students and finding a way to make the fact they're still at school into a fun experience in a safe and loving space.. The same skills I use during my day job are the same skills I bring to the table while watching pets. Everyone, no matter human or animal, wants to belong somewhere and be taken care of in a loving and safe environment. For the past 5 years, I've taken my abilities and used them to pet sit for several families with their dogs, cats, and other small mammals. Whether it's dropping in a few times a day to make sure they're fed and spending a little time with them or staying overnight to make sure they have someone there constantly, I've had a variety of different types of sitter jobs. Before I job, I prefer to meet with the pet and their family members to all introduce ourselves and get to know just what's expected of me during the time I'm taking care of their little one. While the majority of my experience has been working with dogs and cats, I also have some experience with smaller mammals like guinea pigs, hamsters, and mice.
