I am the daughter of a veterinarian, so I grew up working in the family clinic. My tasks included walking the dogs, cleaning kennels, providing food and water for the patients, assisting with administering medications, restraining animals and assisting/prepping for procedures, weighing the patients, and assisting with grooming. My education and career path took me down the road as a zookeeper/animal trainer. I have 5 years experience training exotic animals and providing the daily care, husbandry, and medical attention to animals in a zoo/aquarium setting. I have worked with all species of animals including, but not limited to: birds, rabbits, ferrets, fish, amphibians, reptiles, dogs, cats, livestock/farm animals, and large and small exotic mammals. I am comfortable working with any demeanor and breed/species.
