It is such a pleasure to meet you! My name is Carlynn. I am a responsible young woman who recently graduated from Ithaca College, and who is in need of an additional income. I absolutely adore animals (they make my heart soar), and have experience caring for a variety of kinds. I’ve owned dogs since I was an infant, and have a great deal of experience with dogs and puppies. Additionally, I have a few years’ experience caring for my own cats, as well as the recent experience of raising six kittens from the moment of their birth. I have also owned and cared for rodents (from mice to rabbits), fish, and hermit crabs, and have assisted loved ones with caring for their chickens, ducks, doves, parakeets, and love birds. I have a small amount of experience with horses, cows, and goats, as well as some limited experience with reptiles. In addition to my current experience, I am more than happy to learn how to take care of any of your own unique, cherished critters! One thing I should mention, however, is that I am severely allergic to guinea pigs. As far as I am aware, they are the only animal allergy I have, but it is a strong enough allergy that I cannot commit to caring for your sweet little guinea pigs. I am sorry! Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee I will be able to board your pets, as I live with other people and animals who will have to have a say in who I bring to my home. However, I am happy to pay visits to your home or take part in overnight stays, as well as to walk your dogs (larger dogs MUST be leash trained - I am a small human and would never want to risk your pets’ safety). I have experience administering various kinds of medication to willing dogs, unwilling dogs, and skeptical stray cats, so that is something I am willing to work with as well. As I am sure they are cherished and valued members of your family, I am whole-heartedly and joyfully committed to caring for your pets as my very own, and am dedicated to protecting their health, welfare, and happiness while in my care. (By the way, I just thought I would mention that I am happy to take care of various tasks around your house while you’re gone as well, if that is something you would appreciate. For example, retrieving the mail, watering plants or gardens, small cleaning/dusting tasks, etc.) I hope you will find my responsibility, my attitude, my adoration for animals, and my experience comforting.
