Who I Am: Hello, my name is Mackenzie. I am a college student interested in part time work. I am graduating this spring, but will stay in Chicago. I grew up on a farm and have years of professional animal training experience. I have recently worked at an aquarium in animal care and as a wildlife rehabilitator. I am passionate and active in animal welfare issues, and am in a certification to be a vet assistant. My dream job is to research wildlife conservation issues. I recently owned a rabbit and currently have a cat. Description of Skills: I am confident in pet feeding, exercise, and house training. I have no issue cleaning any messes and preparing any foods (insects, raw diets, rodents, supplements, etc). I trained horses as an independent trainer and focused on horses with behavioral issues, so I am very comfortable caring for pets with the same. If you wish, I can give advice on behavioral problems and work with your pet. I am able to provide any medical care for pets with special needs. I am also able to provide any enrichment to your pet. I have been professionally trained to handle and care for birds, reptiles, fish, rodents, rabbits, dogs, and cats (among others). I am willing to travel within Chicago and Evanston.
