Hello! My name is Kelsey Hockenbury and I am just starting to launch my pet-sitting business, "Family Sitters for Family Critters!" We understand that your pets are your family just as our pets are ours and they deserve to be treated as such. I have spent the past 11 years as a Veterinary Technician primarily in emergency rooms and intensive care units, so in addition to traditional dog walking and pet sitting, I can offer you additional services and a special level of peace of mind knowing that someone knowledgeable is caring for your ill or elderly loved ones. The holidays are coming up and I know how crazy things can get with travel plans or preparing for guests, so if you find yourself in need of someone to take care of your furry friends, please send us an email! We do walks throughout the day (times to be determined based on your preference and our avsailability) and Pet sitting to include three daily visits with walks, litterbox care, feeding, play time and loving. We also offer additional services including but not limited to: Taking your pet to a veterinary visit or grooming appointment for you, taking your dog to the dog park to run out some energy, administering medications both oral and topical (including injections for your diabetic pets), administering SQ fluids if your pet is on at-home fluid therapy, expressing glands, trimming nails, brushing teeth, and simple bandage changes. If you have pets other than dogs and cats, no worries, we can love on them too! We are happy to care for your fish, birds, rodents and reptiles alike. We feed and water, change cages and/or bedding as necessary and meet whatever other special needs your critter has. And if you're going out of town, it's not just your pet that needs some TLC but sometimes your home does too and we're good with houses as well. : ) We will bring in your mail, rotate your lights so it doesn't appear you're out of town, water your indoor and/or outdoor plants and do anything else you may like to have done while you're gone, per your request at no extra charge!
