I also spent a lot of time volunteering for a shelter as a dog walker and gained experience walking dogs that are very strong (many pit bulls, boxers, German shepards, etc.). However, my own dogs that I have had since I was a kid, are small-medium sized beagles. No breed restrictions here! I have a pet rabbit as well. With summer winding down, you may find that your furry friend needs a mid-day walk or check-up while you are at work - Keep in mind that in addition to overnight/sitting services, I also offer walking and check-up services for those who need regular pet care!
