I'm 27 with over 14 years of experience watching kids and a wide variety of pets (from dogs to birds to reptiles to horses). I'd prefer to stay within 40 minutes of my home, I currently watch children/pets mostly in the Towson, Parkville, and Reisterstown areas. I have spent my entire life rescuing and working with animals. I currently have 4 cats, 3 dogs, 2 lizards, and a snake of my own. I have watched householss of up to 9 cats, 7 dogs, multiple reptiles (lizards, snakes, turles), birds, entire barns (horses, goats/sheep, donkeys, cows, turkeys/chickens), etc and am not easily overwhelmed by multipet environments or extremely variable routines. I have worked with animals ranging from horses to small AND large dogs to cats to small animals (guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, mice) to reptiles (geckos, turtles, etc) to birds (large or small) and more and I'm ALWAYS eager to learn about new animals that I've never worked with before! I am very attentive to each pet's needs and have no problem learning each animal's schedule/routine. I have plenty of experience giving animals medications, anything from eye drops to pills. If I watch your pets, I can be flexible on bringing them to my house, depending on the type of animal and how they do with other animals (my 4 cats and dogs all get along well with other animals). I have a yard large enough for multiple dogs to run and play in, as well as plenty of walking available in my neighborhood, as well as local dog parks only a few minutes away! I do have intermediate-level experience with training dogs, cats, and horses so I'm happy to work with any issues your pet may have while they are in my care. I can do day visits for pets (coming in however frequently a day to feed/walk/play with/care for animals) or do overnight stays at your location. I do require that all animals be up to date on vaccines and be flea/tick free. My rates vary depending on the number of pets, the list of responsibilities, the amount of driving time, etc. My rates are flexible depending on each client's needs.
