About Me: I am currently a fourth year college student who is majoring in Animal Science. I have extensive experience with pets! For 3 years, I volunteered at my local animal shelter and dealt with both friendly and aggressive dogs and cats. I currently volunteer at Woods Humane Society, although I have worked with several other rescues and shelters. I have been pet sitting a Toy Pomeranian since 2010 and still do whenever I go back home from college. My duties include driving her to and from doggie day camp, walking and feeding. While here at school, I help a family train and exercise their Golden Retriever puppy along with their other dog. I frequently take them hiking and to the dog park. I have worked as a Daycare Dog Handler where I supervised up to 20 dogs during group play. Recently, I was a kennel attendant at a non profit animal shelter. I have experience with both large and small breed dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, and cats. I have a cat and a large dog of my own. I have had pets stay at my house as a part of past pet sitting jobs, but I have also gone to owner's homes on a daily basis or stayed overnight.
