I am an animal lover. I have experience with all types of animals from snakes & rabbits, cats & dogs, birds & fish, to spiders & more. I especially love dogs -- all dogs, big and small. It seems like there is an immediate bond with them. They all seem to sense that I am a friendly person and there have been times when even trained watch dogs come to me to play and be petted. I have used all kinds of animals to teach my students about them in my classes. Animals are special "people" and an important part of the family.
