Hi there! I am an experienced animal lover that enjoys pet sitting. I have ten years experience with small and larger breed pets. I am comfortable with low and high maintenance animals. I have volunteered and fostered for non profit animal rescues for several years now. I have helped facilitate emergency take ins, forever home adoptions, and re-homing animals. I have also owned and babysat for many animals over the years. I have dealt with animals with difficult situations such a abuse, neglect and medical issues. I deal with high maintenance cases in a compassionate, calming manner. I have also dealt with medical emergencies such as seizure disorders and severe neglect. I know many local areas for ideal dog walking. In this hot weather I am also sensitive to knowing the limits of exercise before a dog becomes too overheated. I am knowledgeable of all emergency contacts in case a pet needs urgent care. I have transportation in case of emergency. I will always ask if your animal has behavioral issues I should be aware of, any dietary restrictions, and am comfortable giving medications. I am a firm believer in positive reinforcement. My favorite breeds are pugs and mastiffs. I personally have two pugs. My oldest pug has had medical issues all of her life and I have ensured she has had the best care for all of her issues. She has also been a good helper with our foster in-takes and enjoys teaching dogs how to eat the best treats, play with the squeakiest toys and walk through the neighborhood with a regal strut. With that said, I am experienced with comfortably caring for and walking multiple animals at a time. All of my animals have been trained to be exposed to other animals. When walking a dog, I always keep a safe distance if there are other animals around to ensure the safety of your pet. I have flexible hours and can be available within short notice.
