Hello there! I currently have a small zoo at home consisting of 2 dogs (one Staffordshire terrier, one little mixed dude ages 2 and 3), 1 crazy cat aged 3, a guinea pig who I think is 5, and some fishies. As well as a beautiful Shepherd mix sweetheart who has passed the rainbow bridge. I have also fostered 2 dogs (privately and not through a shelter or agency). Both dogs have been through numerous classes with a force free training emphasis. I do not believe in hitting, yelling, spanking, or rubbing a dog's nose in something. I do believe in building trust and confidence as well as love :) I have grown up with animals all my life. Both dogs and cats, and both big and small as well as some small mammals and some reptiles. I have specific experience with Labs, Newfoundlands, Boxers, English bulldogs, Huskies, Aussies, Rat terriers, Chihuahuas, Shih tzus, Pitbulls, Spaniels, and so many more. I also have experience with cats, guinea pigs, ferrets, and lizards. I used to live in a house where in total, there were 7 dogs! It was a little crazy, and a lot of fun! One of my pups is on daily medication, so administering meds is something I'm 100% comfortable with. My other dog has severe anxiety, as well as reactivity to other dogs. I have also dealt with the following instances : surgery recovery (both neuter, spay, acl surgeries, dental cleaning) , having to pick up and carry animals not able to do stairs, ramps, or walk very well, potty training, cleaning up a vast array of bodily fluid messes, kennel training, polite leash walking, tons and tons of snuggles, overnight visits, excessive energy, redirecting stressful situations, as well as many others.
