Since the very day I arrived home from the hospital, dogs have been my constant, humble companions. I am the only child in my family, so my first siblings and kindred protectors were our Chocolate Lab (Shadow) and Golden Retriever (Sunshine). Then I was six, at my request, we expanded our little family with a kitten. I've had these canine and feline friends to comfort me everyday, ever since. Later as I grew older I adopted my own first reptile, a bearded Dragon whom I named Aesia. I raised her and took care of her until she passed away last year. I had the pleasure and responsibilities of owning Jodi, my goldfish companion for several years as a child as well. Therefore, the majority of my lifetime has involved interacting, feeding, training, and maintaining daily responsibility for my pets. I feel very confident in my ability to calmly introduce myself and properly handle most pets, so they become comfortable with my presence. I have a fair amount of experience in pet-sitting for three separate clients who needed their cats and dogs tended occasionally. I am willing to take on any general task you need in order to properly care for your pets including feeding, socializing, walking, and simple grooming to name a few. And I don't watch cats and dogs exclusively, I will tend to any exotic critter who needs sweet attention. In addition, I will happily retrieve mail, water plants, or any other house maintenance you may need while away. At the time I am available any day, any time. I don't have a rate listed because I like to negotiate and discuss personally with you about the job. Everyone's situation is different, and therefore requires different types of care and various schedules, so I'd be happy to discuss payment options until we agree on one we're comfortable with. Although I don't have any professional training, you would be laying you're precious pets in good hands. I've developed an instinct in recognizing any signs of distress and am steadfast in taking any action necessary for their safety. I prefer meeting you and your pet before I start my job to familiarize myself with the animal. Soon I do plan on gaining more knowledge by taking classes and earning first aid certificates among others in order to become certified. When it regards these animals you love so dearly, it's easy to grow weary of leaving them. It can be a stressful experience for them as well. Always you must be careful who you are entrusting their lives and/or well-being to. I take this responsibility very seriously, I can ensure they will be my top priority while under my care. My aim and promise in being a pet-sitter is to provide the best care possible for your pet.
