My name is Savannah. I am 18 and currently a student at NOVA Community College hoping to transfer to Virginia Tech (or Gorge Mason) to study Biology, as I am a true lover of animals. I was Treasurer, Secretary, and Vice President in my local 4-H Rabbit and Cavy Club in Pennsylvania for 9 years. While in 4H I taught children about cavies at local Libraries and Summer Camps as well as bringing my animals to Hospitals and Retirement homes. While in Pennsylvania I had a Golden Terrier (Ally) who passed away due to old age and unfortunately had to leave my second dog (Benny) ,a poodle mix, in Pa with my grandparents to assure proper care and environment. I recently moved to Virginia with my family to further my education. I am passionate and ambitious when it comes to my work and aspirations (animal rescue and, hopefully wildlife studies) and only wish to be as hands on with animals as possible. As temporary Caretaker I would guarantee that your pet is as comfortable as possible. Anything he/she needs to feel safe I'm sure I can provide. Being a student, following instructions is something I do regularly and would not be a problem.
