My name is Rita, and I have many years experience in the pet industry as an Assistant Manager in stores caring for and educating customers on a wide variety of domestic and exotic pets. I have much experience hand-taming wild caught parrots, hand-feeding baby parrots, raising and training dogs, cats, lizards, and even breeding 2 pairs of cockatoos. For several years I also raised and bred pedigreed Angora and Fuzzy Lop rabbits for show and pet. I have had 3 Persian cats, have raised Irish Setters, and currently have a 9 year old Great Pyrenees.

She takes time to interact with the animals, and understands common behaviors and play. She is familiar with a variety of animals (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc) and has a way of putting the animals at ease quickly.
