I am currently in school to be a veterinary technician and I have 6 years of pet care experience. I have worked at a vets office for almost three years now. I started in the kennels as a kennel assistant taking care of the dogs in boarding and then worked my way up to assistant kennel manager. I have recently moved over to the hospital side of my clinic and started training to be a veterinary assistant. My job has given me so much valuable experience caring for cats and dogs of many different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have experience working with many different behavioral issues such as nervous/fearful animals, aggressive animals, leash reactive animals, etc. I have completed the fear free program and earned my fear free certification. This program taught me many different techniques to greatly reduce anxiety/stress when caring for nervous and fearful animals so that I can provide a more pleasant experience for them. I am comfortable administering most medications and I have cared for animals with many different health issues. On top of my experience working in a vets office I have also been pet sitting for many years and can provide references upon request. Additional services I can provide include baths, nail buffs, and nail trims. I have one dog of my own and she is my whole entire world so I know how important it is to find someone you trust to take care of your four legged family member. I always strive to treat every animal I care for how I would want my fur baby to be treated so your pet will definitely be spoiled with me.
