Pet Sitter in La Porte, Texas

After 10 years working in the pet industry at different kennels I am now looking forward to working with pets and owners in a more personal matter. In those 10 years I have worked as a kennel technician providing basic care such as potty walks for dogs and water, food and medication for dogs and cats as well as making sure their boarding areas remained clean and comfortable. I was also responsible for watching over group play for dogs and spending one-on-one individual play time with dogs and cats. I also worked as bather performing basic grooming services such as bathing, ear cleaning, expressing glands, teeth brushing and nail trimming. Lastly I have some experience as a dog trainer; focusing on puppy training, basic obedience training and some behavior training for minor behavior problems. Throughout the years I have always had a special ability to read dogs and I seem to have good instincts on how to handle a nervous or scared dog and cox them out of their shell. I have spent so much time in the pet care industry because of a great love of animals and I especially enjoy building relationships with dogs so that they are almost as happy to see me as they are their owners! I hope to be able to build even more of those relationships!
