College graduate with an associates in equine health care & complementary therapies. Besides formal education I have 20 years experience with all sorts of animals. I ran a pet sitting business when I was kid for almost 10 years. During that time I also had horses and showed regularly. My family regularly fostered and rehabilitated animals, due to that I shadowed a local vet for nearly 5 years. After high school I moved out of state and worked in a grooming and dog boutique bathing dogs, scheduling appointments, etc. I have years of experience training dogs and horses, and still rescue, rehabilitate and train horses, as well as continually fostering dogs. Among the dogs, cats and horses, I have also had a lot of experience with caring for smaller mammals (rats, mice, gerbils, ferrets, etc.) and reptiles and amphibians. I truly enjoy helping care for animals and especially comforting them as much as I possibly can while their people are away. I am no stranger to animals with quirks or separation anxiety and have expansive knowledge on how to deal with many behavioral issues, so I truly feel fully equipped to take of your loved one just like my own.
