Hello, my name is Katie H. I am a 19 year old high school graduate. I worked at First United Methodist Church for almost a year (10 months) as a janitor, but I am now unemployed due to medical issues. I am home full-time and available anytime of the week. I will mostly be caring for your dog(s) at my duplex. However, I do have access to a large fenced in back yard, and have a safe neighborhood to walk your dog(s) in. (Woodland Springs subdivision, off of South Donaghey). If you are comfortable with your dog(s) going for a short ride (less than 5 minutes away), he/she is welcome to play there. If not, I will secure his/her leash and let he/she roam around supervised in my non-fenced in yard. There are plenty of friends your dog can make while staying with me. I own three dogs ranging in age, breed, and sex. I have a 10 year old female mutt, named Roxie, a 5 year old male mutt, named Dusty, and a 1 year old pure breed female beagle, named Shilo. If your dog is not good with other dogs, I will keep them separate from the other three dogs. He/she is still welcome to play in the fenced in yard. Potty breaks will be given every 4-8 hours depending on your dogs needs. I have a flexible schedule and will rarely turn a job down. (I have no life. I love dogs!) I also have some experience with horses. I rode English style as a hobby and know how to tack a horse, shoe them, bush them, etc. However, I may need a brush up but I am a quick learner so it will be no problem. I also tend to enjoy cleaning so there will be no complainants from me! I do however have limitations on what I can clean. I had carpal tunnel and got surgery to fix it, but the surgery was not all the way successful. Therefore, I am not able to lift or push heavy objects. I am still capable of sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning windows, bathrooms, laundry, etc. The best way to contact me would be to text (501)904.... Texting is best because the number provided is through a texting app and it does not like to notify me. It especially does not like to tell me when I have a incoming call. I am also on rover...... Rover does a basic background check. Less than 20% of people are approved on Rover. All services offered by me: Dog boarding, dog walking, doggy day care, drop-in visits, house sitting, housekeeping. (Can host one dog per night) Additional skills: Oral medication administration, injected medication administration, first aid/CPR, can provide daily exercise. Dogs are allowed on furniture and beds. Suggested that you leave a clothing item with your dog so your dog can smell your scent while you're away. (Very good for dogs with anxiety!) Do not have own cleaning supplies. Will need it provided.
