Resume Summary: Hello there, my name is Brynn. I'm currently a student at Westchester Community college and working part-time at a local yarn store, Pick Up Every Stitch. I currently have two cats, Oliver and Jacqueline, but have owned both cats and dogs since I was a child. I'm looking for a dog walker and/or pet sitting work opportunity within Westchester County, New York and I'm available as needed. Service Abilities: I have over a year's worth of previous experience being a dog walker and pet sitter. My responsibilities included: 1) tending to dog's needs during the course of walks, 2) keeping accurate records of walk lengths for billing purposes and informing the owner of any concerns observed during walks, 3) providing in-home pet care: feedings, cleaning litter boxes, exercising pets, and other duties as requested, and 4) administering medications as instructed and optimizing care when possible. In addition to these responsibilities, on more than one occasion, I addressed minor injuries experienced by the animals in my care by administering first aid. Moreover, I was able to defuse a potential dog fight after another dog got loose. I picked up the dog I was walking and called for the owner until they came to retrieve their loose dog. I'm happy to help care for sick animals, provide exercise/play time, clean litter boxes, tend to animals' needs, and fulfill other duties upon request.
