I've had dogs, cats, birds or fish my entire life. Most recently, I've been a foster mom to dogs (primarily bully breeds) for about 10 years so I'm used to having dogs in my home. I worked as an RN from 1983 until I retired, which makes me uniquely qualified to care for any sick animals or animals requiring medication. I've had experience with wound care, post-surgical care, eating disorders, seizures and Diabetic Care. I've fostered blind, deaf and handicapped dogs. Puppies, seniors, laid back, energetic, and dogs who have behavioral issues. I have a great relationship with my vet so if anything comes up I can easily take care of it.
