About My Services: Hello! My name is Victoria. I'm looking to offer pet sitting services for both in home and kenaling at my home (specific animals only) for a range of pets. I have personal experience in caring for lizards and geckos, aquatic pets such as fish and amphibians, cats, and dogs. I also have knowledge on proper care for many other species such as rodents, snakes, turtles, and small bird species. Who I Am? I've always had a passion for Animals since I was young. Growing up I essentially wanted to have a mini Zoo within my own. I grew up around dogs and cats regularly having two of each and once I moved out I begun rescuing a range of other species. I have so far raised leopard geckos, bearded dragons, crested geckos, cats, dogs, tropical and freshwater fish, frogs, axolotls, shrimp. I generally stand as a rehoming station with only 2 cats as permanent pets. I will typically take ill fish from local shops for free or I'll pets in need of rehoming, bring them to full health, then rehome them. For this reason I'm rather experienced with many different levels of special needs animals and required treatment. Admittedly I do this more for a hobby than I do for the payment, however out of respect for those who do this as a full-time job and use of my own time, I will still need to request the payment of at least minimum wage. Availability and Offering: My availability ranges week to week. I offer mostly in home care. However I can for small caged animals offer kenneling services within my home if needed. I always change clothes between home to prevent any cross contamination is case of an ill pet, known or otherwise. I am comfortable doing pet feeding, providing play time, providing kennel/boarding services (caged animals only), preparing and providing any need medication or therapy. I can provided minimum dog walking, and lastly I offer litter box cleaning services for a small fee a $2 during one off or work time visits, and for free during vacation trips or extended periods of time away from home. I also can work on training with dogs and puppy's. I will only use positive reinforcement training, I do not believe in hitting dogs as a form of training. Most if not all payments and terms are negotiable and I am usually willing to work around with payment plans if necessary. I generally prefer to have a week's notice for appointments however I can occasionally offer Emergency day of or one day notice services if required should I be available. Disclaimer: As a disclaimer, due to my qualifications and experience I am regularly dealing with ill and potentially contagious animals. I assure you I take all precautions necessary to prevent spread of any virus or illness however it is a requirement that I do mention to you this ahead of time. It is rare for me to have two sitting appointments within one day however it does occasionally happen and on those cases I always come prepared with a change of clothes in a sealed bag to prevent contamination, antibacterial wipes and rubs, and keep my hair tied back or covered completely.
