All my life, I raised, bred, showed, trained, loved and cared for dogs, cats and other animals. Here are my qualifications as a dog walker: - Are your dogs athletic? very large? small and need protection? puppy issues? elderly care issues? multiple dogs? No problem! I love all dogs, big/small, young/old, and have experience handling dog issues with love and grace. - Concerns about city issues? traffic, unfriendly animals (or people), kooks who provoke animals? I have experienced them all - and will always protect your dog. - Scavenging, and other unhealthy habits? Your dog is safe with me. - I have medical training and can help with the care your vet prescribes, such as administering medication, changing slings, bandages and collars, providing simple physical therapy and animal massage. I am often able to alert you to impending medical issues early on. - Aggression issues? Are there dogs that don't like yours or vice versa? I know how to prevent problems, and in the event of surprise contact, can separate unfriendly animals without harm to either dog. - Etiquette, training or behavior issues? I am an experienced dog trainer and can help. - I am patient and have a special affinity for animals. Dogs and cats are people to me. When I see an animal regularly, we usually become good friends. - I live in Manhattan near a hub of many subway lines, so you are likely very convenient for me, even in times of bad weather.
