Hi, and thank you for reaching out to me! My name is Laurie Smith. I am a freelance photographer and pet mom in Greenville Illinois. I am happy to help with providing your precious pet(s) with happiness, providing long walks, play, feeding and care, and providing you with peace of mind when you need to be away for a period of time, whether it be just a work day, a weekend, or vacation I have reliable transportation, and am available within a 20 mile radius of Greenville. When it comes to previous training, I have over 30 years of experience with a variety of animals. I was an exceptional horse owner for over 20 years, both training, riding, and caring for them; I have owned, trained and cared for dogs all my life, having the most experience with Boston Terriers and German Shepherds. We have also owned chickens, cats, exotics such as parrots, reptiles and hedgehogs, and even a goat. Our current family pets are Butters, a 7 year old Boston Terrier, Kali, a 3 year old German Shepherd, and Cyndaquil, a hedgehog. As a pet owner myself, I understand the difficulty of finding a caretaker for my animals when I need to be away for an extended period, especially if it is for horses, chickens, and farm-type livestock. I am experienced with these animals as well as the typical household pets like dogs and cats, so no worries! Your special family members will be cared for as well as I would care for and love my own. I am available to offer brief daily walks and visits with your pet, or for vacation or weekend care when needed, in your pet's home environment.
