I am a courteous animal handler that knows the body language of cats and dogs extensively. I have very high empathy for all kinds of animals and strive to make them as comfortable as I can. We were thoroughly trained on calming any upset animals, and I greatly enjoy doing so! It never fails to warm my heart when I manage to comfort an animal after being in a stressful environment such as a vaccine clinic. My current job is as a Clinic Assistant for a mobile pet vaccine clinic! I have worked in this position for a year and have plenty of personal experience caring for cats, dogs and birds. Thousands of different dogs and cats have come to our clinics, and I have seen as many different personalities as I can imagine. A list of interactions I've been trained for: -Effective and safe interactions with unfamiliar pets -Nail trims for dogs and cats -Dog and cat restraints of all kinds -Vaccinating dogs and cats -Drawing blood for testing on dogs and cats I am also very outgoing with people and respectful of others' homes in the case of pet sitting. Restrictions: Unfortunately I am limited on bringing pets to my own home for care. We have one very calm cat, so it would really depend on the conditions of this kind of set up. I am still absolutely open for inquiries on this! I want to make things work for you. I also currently work overnights on weekends so I'm unavailable Friday night to Sunday night as of now.
