Pet Sitter in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

Hello! My name is Richard MacDonald, and I am an animal lover who is happy to help out with absolutely any pet. I don't currently have any pets of my own, but I have grown up with various animals, including cats, dogs, birds, fish, rabbits and guinea pigs. I currently live just on the edge of Charlottetown by North River in a spacious apartment (that does allow pets) with plenty of room for smaller animals to run around and play. While larger dogs may not have a lot of room to run around in while inside, there is a park just outside the building that we can go to for fun and exercise, as well as walking trails nearby to explore. My main concern is ensuring that all animals in my care are safe, healthy, happy and having fun. If you have any rules for your pet, such as no jumping on the furniture, I am happy to enforce those same rules here. Alternatively, if you don't mind them on your furniture, they're welcome on mine as well (we have a large recliner that my girlfriends' parents' chocolate lab loves to curl up in when she visits). Ultimately I want their time here to be as comfortable and as much like home as possible. Understandably an animal entering a new environment may be apprehensive, especially after his/her loved ones leave. If there are any carriers or kennels that your pet likes to hide or sleep in, it would be best to bring them so they have a familiar space to call their own. Regardless, there is also a table in the kitchen that a blanket will be draped over to provide a private space, along with some additional blankets and pillows underneath to make it more comfortable than just a bare tile floor. If needed, I can also come to your place to pick up/drop off your pet, although there may be a small additional charge (I'll let you know ahead of time) if you happen to live more than 30 minutes away. I only ask that you please have any food, medications, toys, etc. that your pet may want or need ready to go upon my arrival. Thank you, and I look forward to meeting you and your pets!
