My name is Lauren Gleason, and I was born and raised in Ridgway, Colorado. I am currently 23, and have had a great deal of experience caring for animals not only in my personal/family life but also for strangers and friends who have been in need. I graduated with my bachelors degree in Horticulture from Colorado State University in 2015, so I am also very competent in plant care. I have always had a strong fondness for animals and nature, and even created my own business called "Diggity Dog Walking Service" When I was 11. I grew up on four acres helping raise and care for 3 dogs, 2 horses, a bird, some ducks, several fish and frogs, and an abundance of guinea pigs and rabbits. As a part time job over the last 5 years I have watched over peoples houses for them while they are away on business or vacation, and have plenty of experience both in animal and plant care. I recently finished up a work trade on a farm in Hawaii, where a large part of my responsibilities included caring for a dog, 3 cats, 4 cows, 5 chickens, and 4 ducks. I am responsible, hard working, and I genuinely enjoy animals and the outdoors. I have my own AWD vehicle and feel comfortable driving in all kinds of conditions.
